I have sinusitis again, just as in February. I’ve mailed it to the homeopathic therapist to whom I go with all my ailments, and she finds it a good sign. It is an old complaint, and it comes back to cure itself. I know that it works like that, but  when it actually happens, it is hard to believe because I am really not feeling well.

In the passage I have read today, John 12:37-50, John quotes the prophet Isaiah. John tells that although Jesus had done many miracles, many people did not believe who Jesus was, despite the miracles he did: the son of God. By not believing in him, says John, is a prophecy of Isaiah be fulfilled. Isaiah had said:

I got sick today. I am afraid the reason for that is that I am too busy. And my arms are hurting still. So, I cannot read a card today, but if I had done it, it would have been alongside the story of Nicodemus and Jesus, John, 2:23-3:15.

It is late now, and my hands and arms are sore. A few lines only. The story I have read today is the Cleansing of the Temple in John 2:13-22. Jesus went to the temple and saw moneychangers sitting at tables and people selling cattle, sheep and doves. He got a rope, made a whip and chased them away. The supplement “Mother Goddesses and Mothers” for the lesson on the Empress is finished now. Ten spreads are in there, plus information, adding up to 36 pages. People do not have to do it, it is just a supplement. I know, some will be very happy with it, but not everyone. ( Read more... )

Finally it is Christmas, after all these weeks of Advent in which I have read Isaiah with the help of the Tarot of a Moon Garden.

Today I have done a reading for Christmas, after church to which I went with my daughter dressed as one of the Three Kings, and before dinner, with mussels and plum pudding.

I have pain in my arms due to typing under stress. Therefore my question is “What to do about that?” It is not that I do not know what to do. I must relax, I know that, but still, a card can get me out of my old rut for a moment.

Tonight I have pulled a card that sums up my day. My card was Queen of Swords from the New Palladini Tarot (this evening I taught the Court Cards in a class, and just now I pulled one, funny is that). We see a brave woman there, decisive, in a fighting attitude and a bit rigid.
